Summary of Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work directly with the fair market value and healthcare consulting groups. The candidate will have the following primary responsibilities.

Healthcare Consulting
The bulk of our consulting work is with hospitals and health systems as well as physician practices of all sizes. Our projects include market analysis, strategic planning, new business due diligence, financial projections for both new and growth projects. The position will include a heavy emphasis on building and analyzing financial statements and financial projections, data analysis and industry research. Strong data analysis skills required.

Fair Market Value
The healthcare group performs a significant number of fair market value and commercial reasonableness opinions throughout the year. The successful candidate will be proficient in researching valuation related information and benchmarking data. In addition to a heavy emphasis on data research and analysis, the candidate should also possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.

For both functions the candidate must be comfortable functioning independently. Also, the candidate needs to be efficient in their work and comfortable prioritizing assignments and working in tight timelines.
The successful candidate must be skilled at creating, building and maintaining relationships with clients and others that enhance performance of the practice. Since the focus of the practice is on the entrepreneurial client, this proven consultant must employ a strategic perspective and be skilled at developing in-depth relationships with the ultimate decision-makers within client organizations. The successful candidate must have the technical knowledge inherent to the healthcare profession and be aware of trends.

To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must have:

  • a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a public accounting/consulting firm environment or relevant industry experience
  • Understanding and knowledge of the healthcare industry a must
  • CPA (preferred); May substitute relevant industry experience
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and written communication skills
